The Four Immeasurables

May all sentient beings - friends, relatives, enemies and strangers -
have happiness and its causes

May all sentient beings - friends, relatives, enemies and strangers -
be free from suffering and its causes

May all sentient beings - friends, relatives, enemies and strangers -
never be separated from sorrowless bliss

May all sentient beings - friends, relatives, enemies and strangers -
abide in equanimity, free of bias, attachment and anger

四无量心
愿一切众生具足乐及乐因
愿一切众生远离苦及苦因
愿一切众生不离无苦之妙乐
愿一切众生永离爱憎常往平等舍

Beautiful blessings, aren't they?
Extract of summary meaning of the 4 Immeasurables from Buddhanet:
All life is interdependent. Therefore the happiness of one individual depends upon that of others. The Buddha taught the Four Immeasurables - loving-kindness, compassion, appreciative joy and equanimity - in order to remove ill will, cruelty, jealousy, clinging and aversion.

For more readings on details on the practice of the Four Immeaurables, you may refer to this site: bodhicitta.net.
Ven. Sangye Khadro's book : Awakening a Kind Heart and Ven. Thubten Chodron 's Working With Anger would help one to live more happily in tough situations.
(The books are for free distribution at Bright Hill Temple & Awareness place. Do pick up a copy for reading should you visit the places) :-)

May All Be Well & Happy!!!! :-)

I only get to know this @ the Retreat and i like this very much.

It really make me think hard on this and I decide to practise what it says - may all mother sentient beings, boundless as the sky have happiness and the cause of happiness.

Just a baby step - bring happiness to other by having a big smile and say Thank You often. Try not to bring sufferring on other in whatever way, make life easier for other.

Another one that struck me is the (I don't know the name),I find it is REAL GREAT, it is something like

May all..... Be led along the path by the Proctecor, Avolokiteshvara.
