Almost missed it till an ex-kmspks classmate informed me and decided to visit it! :-)
I am somehow quite legargic in attending Vesak events this year but the vegetarian food fair motivated glutton me...
Glad I made the trip...
Memorable tentage and hmm couldn't believe it...almost every year there is Hugh Pour and mini flood...

Yes Irresistible is the Vegetarian food fair which sushi is a must try on my list. This year kmspks did not seem to have the sushi stall but compensated by other stalls offering it...
Must get is also mushroom chilli paste from the carnival...hope still taste as good...
Met a number of Dharma friends at the carnival too...

Considered a meaningful afternoon to attend Vajrasattva practice after that and even had a nice bowl of Lormee at JZ which gave me energy to have a loud 45min chant before back to mundane restlessness in evening...

卫塞月到又是五色佛旗飘扬的时刻。
佛旗，全称国际佛教旗。设计者根据佛陀成道时圣体放出的六种色光制成佛旗：蓝色、黄色、红色、白色、橙色、前五色混合色。其构图，纵横均为蓝、黄、红、白、橙等色，象征人类的各种肤色。其中，横的表示全世界人类的和睦相处，纵的表示世界的和平。
佛旗是全世界佛教信众共通的旗帜和佛教的标志。是由美国新闻记者亨利·斯太尔·奥尔科特在1880年设计的。1885年佛教旗在斯里兰卡作为信仰与和平的象征第一次正式使用。1951年世界佛教友谊会在斯里兰卡成立，将五色旗定为会旗，之后逐渐为全世界佛教信众所认可，五色旗遂成为佛教世界共同标志。
佛旗上各个颜色的含义分别如下：
蓝色：代表慈悲，和平。
黄色：中道了义，离於空有，究竟彻底。
红色：成就福慧，庄严吉祥。
白色：清净解脱，法尔如是。
橙色：佛法的本质，是从智慧庄严而成。【注：在缅甸为浅粉红】
综合前五色：真如不二之义
1980年，将佛教教旗的标准、解释和使用方法载入僧伽组织基本规条第十章内：
蓝光由佛陀的毛发放射，代表对诸众生怀有同体大悲的精神。 黄光由佛陀的皮肤放射，代表远离二边、带来平衡和解脱的中道。 红光由佛陀的肌肉放射，代表依佛法修行而带来的加持力。 白光由佛陀的骨齿放射，代表佛法的清净和它所带来的解脱。 橙光由佛陀的掌、踵和唇放射，代表不可动摇的佛法。 五色光合成第六色(非肉眼所能见) 代表佛法为普遍的真理。
这面佛旗清晰的传达出这样的意义：不论种族、国籍、地域或肤色，所有众生，佛性平等，均可成佛。
