Every time I pass by this corner shop at Chinatown to Yi Xin Vegetarian, I am always impressed by the stone carvings that it displayed. Especially their Bodhisattva sculptures, such as the one in picture, which one couldn't resist to stop for a moment to silently pay respect to.

You are so observant. Try capture view from different angles, from bottom up, different sides ...
In my life, there is one Bodhisattva statue that I like very much ... I saw it once at Metta Home (Hall) not for visitor.
I just like the way the Bodhisattva sit, one leg up and one leg on the ground. Very carefree, natural, interesting ...
When I see Bodhisattva Statue, I try to find one that sits that way, no luck. I just want to look at it closely again, no intention to buy it or have it at home.
Sometime, it is that particular moment (able to be at the presence moment) when one look at a Bodhisattva Statue - the impact.

Had always pass by there & finally decided to take a snapshot. The carvings there are towards simplicity concept but the facial very serene.
Our local Chinatown sees increasing authetic Chinese art. A place worth exploring.:-)
And the area also developing into a vegetarian food paradise.:-)
It seems that there is no more free veg*n food from BTRT. And Just Green not there anymore.
I spot Loving Hut and Tracy Juice Culture at IP near TP MRT.
